General Information & Privacy Policy

Lux Counselling Collective Inc. does not provide all types of counselling services and does not provide prescriptions, psychiatric care, or crisis support. Clients may be referred to another counselling service or be refused service if we deem it clinically and/or ethically appropriate to do so.

Our clients’ personal information is held in utmost confidence, as set out in our contract and confidentiality forms. Personal information is maintained and disposed of in a secure manner, in compliance with relevant privacy legislation. Electronic files are stored in an encrypted database that is HIPPA compliant.

All virtual sessions take place via Teletherapy.io which is a HIPPA compliant platform. Your counsellor will review any potential risks with you prior to your first virtual session.

Payment Policies, Methods, & Pricing

Payment is due on the day of all coaching, counselling, and psychotherapy sessions. Payment for workshops and private classes are due prior to the event. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit or E-transfer

Pricing ranges from $130 - $145 per session. A reduced rate of $100 per session is available upon need and request and approval of an application.

Coverage for Counselling Services is dependant on personal benefit plans. There is no guarantee that our counselling services are 100% covered. Please get in touch with your insurance company to determine coverage for counselling.

Refunds & Cancellations

Workshop fees, private classes, clinical counselling, and health coaching fees are all non-refundable. 

Lux Counselling Collective reserves the right to cancel workshops and/or any counselling or coaching session. In the event of a cancellation, Lux will reschedule at a time that is convenient for both parties. If you must cancel an appointment, please notify us 24-hrs in advance—failure to do so will result in a charge of the $65.
